Question 3, target audience feedback

The feedback I received from my target audience was very useful, I collected feedback from my media class, I done this as they were aware of the technical aspects involved in my music video so could pick up on the editing techniques I used well and camera work I used. Some of the things that they picked up I done well were the zoom techniques, colour changes in cropped screens and lighting.
Some of the comments they made,
“I think that the lighting was very good as it highlighted the relevant information and main singer well.”
‘”The different camera angles were used well, keeping the video engaging”
“The changes in locations were good, although the video was a concept video it had elements of narrative in it too”
Some of the things they said could be improved were,
“Some shots could be improved if a tripod was used”
“The camera quality was very poor”
“some of the lip syncing was slightly out”
This feedback helped and if I was to reshoot the video I would definitely use a tripod more often for some of the still shots. The camera was of a poor quality, however there is nothing I could have done about this as it was the best equipment I had available. Enhancing the lighting could have improved the quality slightly, however this would then loose the mood of the video and change the atmosphere of it.
I also sent out a survey on survey monkey, the information I received on this was from The Chapters target audience. This was very useful as they could recognise the genre of music and what worked well with this genre.
